CHATA PRI POPRADSKOM PLESE‘Mountain hotel by „Popradske tarn“, 1500 m a.s.l.(‘KHA-ta pree POP-rahd-skom PLEH-seh’) This complete hotel is located on the northern bank of the tarn, making it a stop-over for hikers ascending the mountain Ostrva or visiting the Symbolic Cemetery. Originating as a simple log cabin in 1879, it was rebuilt several times over the years and the present structure is in an alpine style dating from 1961. It is also known under the name of Captain Moravek. Food and lodging is provided year round.
