Leisure servicesThe High Tatras offer a wide range of both sports and leisure services. For sports, please check our page about Sports. Almost every hotel either has a swimming pool of its own or has an agreement with a swimming pool proprietor nearby (within 200 meters). Many hotels will arrange a tour guide, a historical guided tour or generally advise on how to spend your time in the High Tatras. B&Bs and smaller accommodation facilitators can arrange more local attractions like seeing a sheperd's cottage with live sheeps or cattle, horse riding, paragliding or courses on local traditional crafts like pottery. All of you who are more of a connoiseurs of local cuisine and produce may enter the quest for local meals (like "bryndzove halusky" or "sedliacka kapsa"), drinks (more than a few brews of beer, slovak wines, or the infamous "tatransky caj" - tha Tatra tea, which is richer in alcohol than you may think) and more.
