My family spent two very pleasant Christmas vacations at the Hotel
Panorama in Strbske Pleso.
I would not choose to stay in this hotel based on their interior
design (this is old, and hopefully will soon get a refurbishment).
However, for me, the most important question when I choose a hotel
is not how it looks, but how it "feel" -- and, thanks to the
staff, this hotel helps its guests feel very good.
Personally, I know of no other hotel in the Tatras with reception
staff who try so hard to help their guests, even when the guest
asks for something unusual.
Finally, I would like to praise the kitchen. We ate at three of
the hotel's food services, including the main restaurant.
Everything we ordered was very well prepared -- and again, they
were very willing to prepare things which were not on the menu.
