Military Health Centre - Tatranske Matliare

These military facilities provide preventive and convalescence to Slovak soldiers, and spa treatment to veterans. Since 1997, administrative changes have opened access to civil patients public as well.

Therapeutic spa care is also available to self-paying guests, from Slovakia and abroad.

Patients therapy draws on the healing climate of the High Tatras and on a wide spectrum of physical and balneo-therapeutic procedures.

Patients stay for 21 days. 125-bed capacity is divided into double rooms and limited number of singles, all equipped with telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator and hot and cold running water.

Food service offers a variety of selections, including dietary foods and packed lunches for hikers.
