Zamkovskeho chata(ZAHM-kov-skay-ho KHA-ta’)
The Zamkovsky Tourist Chalet (Zamkovskeho chata) was built during the years 1942-43 by Stefan Zamkovsky and lies 1 475 meters above sea level. The Chalet is nestled in the valley "Mala Studena dolina" of the High Tatras National Park. It is the most readily accessible Chalet of the entire High Tatras mountain region. Access paths to the Chalet are indicated by red trail markings (the main routes of the Tatra region) and can be reached within a one-hour hike from the settlements at Hrebienok or Skalnate pleso. Visitors of any age are heartily welcome at the Chalet. The Zamkovsky Chalet: The Obrovsky and Studenovodske waterfalls are on the way to the Chalet.
